About the client
UMARA are specialists in nutrition/energy for endurance sports athlets. Using science, athlete experience and their own ability to weave theory with practice, they develop and optimize sports nutrition to help you perform at your individual peak. Everyone can get to the next level.
Umara had grown strong in the Swedish market in the recent years thanks to its valued products and its involvement in many large sports events and associations. They aimed to take on the European market and thus faced new challenges. Their website needed an update in terms of branding, user experience and UI design to reach the right target group.
How had UMARA grown and changed in recent years and what did they want to reflect to their existing and new customers?
Umara is an already established brand within several major sports in Sweden today, the challenge was to give their brand a new modern fresh look that their existing customers could recognize and relate to, while we wanted to attract new customers.
They needed a new easy-to-use website with a web shop for their products and a blog that was ready to take on the European market. We also wanted to offer unique interactive tools such as an energy calculator for different types of athletes.
